Turkey/Meat Preparation Instructions

  • Thaw turkey/meat in refrigerator completely. Usually takes approximately 4 days prior to drop off. Clean out the insides of your turkey completely. We cannot accept frozen meat at time of drop off
  • Season your turkey/meat with your favorite dry rub, barbecue sauce, or marinade recipe. If you are fresh out of ideas check out the video link in our media library for some ideas. DO NOT put stuffing mix inside the turkey as this will turn to mush during the cooking process in the pit. You can stuff your turkey with onions, butter, or any other seasonings you prefer.
  • Place your turkey/meat in an oven bag and close with a oven bag tie. Bring your turkey/meat to us on a large cookie sheet (we wont keep your cookie sheet) to prevent spills or tears in the bag.
